This website was created for your child's financial learning and entertainment. It presents many different features including contests, articles, games, and financial concepts. Below is a brief description of each section:
Monthly Contest
Kids participating in the Monthly Contest have the chance to win various prizes. At times the contest might focus on a specific age group depending on the nature of the contest. Have your child check back often for new contests and prizes!
Play, Learn, and more
These sites are specifically designed for children of all age groups. They focus on age appropriate material on financial topics, and also includes stories, games, and calculators.
Supersaver's Featured Articles
These featured articles are selected from the websites in "Play, Learn, and more" section. The topics range from cool hobbies to learning how to make money.
Kid's Choice
This is a fun survey that children can vote on and see what others are saying too. This allows our LFCU Constellation Club members to voice their choice on a broad range of questions.
LFCU Newsletters
The Little Dipper and Shooting Star Newsletters are developed every quarter for children to see what is going on in the Credit Union. It also gives children neat financial tips.
Money Fun
These age appropriate programs feature games that children can play to increase their financial knowledge. Games range from counting money, to balancing a checkbook, to using an ATM machine.
@School
LFCU has a program called the "Mini Branch" where members of LFCU staff go to participating schools and allow children to deposit money into their LFCU accounts. Learn the value of money and how to start saving with the LFCU staff. When the school year is in session, children can see on this page the dates that the Mini Branch will be coming to their school.
Club Benefits
When a child opens up an account at Langley Federal Credit Union, they are automatically part of the "Constellation Club." As members of the Constellation Club, they have certain benefits such as free admission to local museums, free gifts, and much more.
